Product Description
The PowerRun 4.2kW Hybrid Solar Inverter is rated for 4,200W (8,400VA peak) output from a 24V battery bank, with a built-in MPPT controller supporting up to 6,000W of solar panel input. It automatically transfers between grid, solar and battery in 10ms, producing stable 230V pure sine wave power for homes and small offices that need a bit more headroom than the 3.6kW model. Up to 98% efficiency, LCD + WiFi monitoring, and a 2-year warranty come standard.

The PR Hybrid Inverter 4.2kW runs on a 24 V DC battery bank, so it needs a 25.6 V LiFePO4 battery. At its full rated 4.2 kW it draws about 182 A from the battery (4.2 kW ÷ 25.6 V at about 90% efficiency): use at least 35 mm² (2 AWG) copper battery cable and a 250 A DC breaker or fuse.
