A PowerRun hybrid solar inverter costs between ₹29,650 and ₹80,499, from 3.6 kW for a home to 12 kW for a shop or small business. Below is the full price list, which model to pick if you are looking for a "3kW", "5kW" or "10kW" inverter, and what to check before you buy.
Hybrid solar inverter price list (October 2026)
| 3.6 kW (24 V battery, up to 5,000 W solar) | ₹29,650 |
| 4.2 kW (24 V battery, up to 6,000 W solar) | ₹34,499 |
| 6.2 kW (48 V battery, up to 8,500 W solar) | ₹36,499 |
| 8.2 kW (48 V battery, dual MPPT, 2 × 5,500 W solar) | ₹68,499 |
| 11 kW (48 V battery, dual MPPT, 2 × 8,500 W solar) | ₹76,499 |
| 12 kW (48 V battery, dual output, dual MPPT) | ₹80,499 |
All six are pure sine wave inverters with built-in MPPT solar charging, 10 ms transfer time and up to 98% efficiency, with a 2-year warranty, GST bill and free delivery across India. Prices are as on 23 October 2026; the hybrid inverters page always shows the current price.
Looking for a 3kW, 5kW or 10kW hybrid inverter?
Most people search by a round number, but inverter ratings rarely are. Here is how the PowerRun range lines up:
- 3 kW / 3.5 kVA class: the 3.6 kW model. Runs lights, fans, TV, fridge and a small motor, with room to spare.
- 4-5 kW class on a 24 V battery: the 4.2 kW model.
- 5 kW class on a 48 V battery: the 6.2 kW model. It takes up to 8,500 W of panels, so a 5 kW rooftop array fits comfortably with space to add more.
- 8 kW class: the 8.2 kW model, with two solar inputs and parallel operation.
- 10 kW class: the 11 kW or 12 kW model, for larger homes, shops and small businesses.

24 V or 48 V: why battery voltage matters
The 3.6 kW and 4.2 kW models run on a 24 V battery; the 6.2 kW and above run on 48 V. A 48 V system carries the same power at half the current, so cables run cooler and the inverter can deliver more. If you expect to add AC, a motor pump or more panels later, a 48 V setup leaves more room to grow. Match the battery to the inverter: PowerRun LiFePO4 batteries come in both 25.6 V (24 V class) and 51.2 V (48 V class).
What does a full system cost?
The inverter is only one part. A typical 5 kW home system also needs panels and a battery. Using PowerRun prices, a 6.2 kW inverter with ten 550 W panels and a 5.12 kWh lithium battery comes to about ₹1,85,000 for the equipment, before structure, wiring and installation. Our 5kW solar system cost guide breaks this down line by line.
Five things to check before you buy
- Rated output, not peak. Compare the continuous rating; peak (VA) only covers motor start-up surges.
- Maximum solar input. This decides how many panels you can connect, now and later.
- Battery voltage and type. Make sure the inverter supports a lithium (LiFePO4) battery at your chosen voltage.
- Pure sine wave output. Needed for fridges, ACs, pumps and electronics to run safely.
- Warranty and service. Check who services it in your area. PowerRun inverters carry a 2-year warranty with service support.
Frequently asked questions
What is the price of a 5kW hybrid solar inverter in India?
For a 5 kW class system, the PowerRun 6.2 kW hybrid inverter (48 V) is ₹36,499, and the 4.2 kW model (24 V) is ₹34,499.
What is the price of a 3kW hybrid solar inverter?
The PowerRun 3.6 kW hybrid inverter, which covers the 3 kW / 3.5 kVA class, is ₹29,650.
Which battery goes with a 6.2kW hybrid inverter?
The 6.2 kW model runs on a 48 V battery, so it pairs with a PowerRun 51.2 V LiFePO4 battery: 100 Ah (5.12 kWh) for everyday backup or 200 Ah (10.24 kWh) for long power cuts or an AC.
